An original UK mono pressing of Donovan's 1965 debut album Fairytale. This well-preserved copy captures the folk-pop charm of the era in its authentic mono format. Original pressings like this rarely surface in such good order, making it a genuine find for collectors seeking genuine vintage vinyl from the mid-60s folk scene.

Original UK mono release in front-laminated flipback cover with pinched spine endings, on plum colored Pye labels.
Poly-lined company inner sleeve, advertising other Pye related label releases.

This version is currently the only one without printing errors on the backcover credits; however, there is a similar mono version here: Fairytale, with additional electric guitar credit for Shawn Philips on 'Song With Your Name', a track which isn't on the album, and A2 written as "To Try For The Sun", instead of "I'll Try For The Sun". These errors continued on subsequent PYE releases.
